Application Fee:
- Rs. 50/- Payable via SBI Challan through Power Jyoti Account No, 35015974955 at SBI, Laitkor Branch, Shillong, Code No 13883.
- SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen and Female candidates are free from the payment of application fee.
Selection Process:
Selection of the job seekers will be done on the basis of their performance in Physical Standards, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test, Trade Test (Skill Test), Detailed Medical Examination and Review Medical Examination followed by Merit List.
1.Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
PET Will comprise the following:-
- For Male candidates: 05 km run to qualify within 24 minutes
- For Female Candidates: 1.6 km run to qualify within 8.30 minutes
- No PET will for Ex-Servicemen. However ex-servicemen are required to pass the requisite medical examination.
2.Written Test:
- The written will be held for all the candidates. The test will consist of the paper of 100 marks. The Cut off Percentage of Marks for appointment is as under:
- General/ Ex-Servicemen: 35%
- SC/ ST/ OBC: 33%
3.Trade Test:
Trade Test (Skill Test) for Technical & tradesman personnel including clerkand personal assistant will be conducted before going for medical examination. No marks will be allotted for this round. The candidates will only assess as pass or fail.
4.Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME):
DME & RME will be undergone as per the guidelines issued by ADG (Medical) CAPF, NSG & AR dt 20 May.
5.Merit List and Call For Training:
Candidates who will qualify the Physical Standards, PET, Written Test, Trade Test (Skill Test), DME and RME they will be placed in merit list and then called for the appointment on their applied post.
