Age Limit:

21 to 30 Years as on 1st August, 2017 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1987 and not later than 1st August, 1996

Educational Qualifications:

• Indian Economic Service (IES) : Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics/ Econometrics from a University incorporated by of an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.

• Indian Statistical Service (ISS) : Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master’s degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutes established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time.

Selection Process:

A combined competitive examination for recruitment to Junior Time Scale of the Services will be held by the UPSC commencing from 12th May 2017.

Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Allahabad, Jammu, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Bhopal, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai, Patna, Cuttak, Shillong, Delhi, Shimla, Dispur, Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad.

₹ 200/-either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad /State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card. No fee for Female/ SC/ ST/ PH candidates.

The Candidates are requested to fill up and submit the Part-I and Part II of their online application forms before the closing date of the application. • Marine Radio Assistant Gd.III: A.High School or Class X equivalent Board Examinations with : (i) Second class Certificate with Proficiency/ Competency in Marine Radio Operation Recognized by Govt. of India with Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) certification issued by the Ministry of Communication (MoC) and one year experience in line. Age limit:

Date of Reckoning of age limits shall be 15/03/2017.i.e. the last date of receipt of On-line application. Date of Birth as mentioned in the SSC/ Matriculation Board Certificate will only be considered as valid proof.

Pay Scale:

• A-II level (Regular): Rs. 12,000- 27000/- (Total emolument would be Rs.31,500/- approx. per month.)
• A-I level (Regular): Rs. 11,000-24,000/- (Total emolument would be Rs. 29,000/- approx. per month.)
