Indian Oil Corporation Limited, the largest commercial undertaking in India and a Fortune “Global 500” Company, as a measure of Skill Building Initiative for the Nation, Proposes to engage Apprentices at its Barauni Refinery at Begusarai, Bihar.

Applications are invited from candidates meeting the following qualification & other parameters for engagement as Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973(as amended from time to time) in the Trade/Discipline mentioned below:

• Trade Apprentice (Fitter): 04 posts
• Trade Apprentice (Boiler): 03 posts
• Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 4 posts
• Technician Apprentice (Chemical): 14 posts
• Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 05 posts
• Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): 02 posts

Age Limit as on 30^th Sept 2016: 18-24 years

Qualification:

• Trade Apprentice/Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant): Sc. (Physics, Maths, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry)
• Trade Apprentice (Fitter): Matric with 2 years with ITI Fitter Course
• Trade Apprentice (Boiler): Sc. (Physics, Maths, Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry)
• Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Technician Apprentice (Chemical): Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Refinery & Petrochemicals Engineering
• Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation): Diploma in Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Electronics/Instrumentation & Control

Selection will be based on Written Test and Personal Interview
