Age Limit:
Candidates age should be between 15-22 years for non ITI candidates & 15-24 years for ITI candidates as on 12-10-2016. Upper age relaxation 5 years is applicable to SC/ ST & 3 years for OBC & for other refer notification.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Matriculation (Matriculation or 10 th class in 10+2 examination system) for fresher Trade & Matriculation (Matriculation or 10 th class in 10+2 examination system+ ITI passed in relevant trade) with certificate from institutions affliated to NCVT compulsory in relevant trade for Ex. ITI Trade.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on marks obtained in the matriculation examination or 10 th class in 10+2 examination system only.
Application Fee:
Candidates should pay Rs.20/- in the form of crossed Postal Order only in favour of F.A & C.A.O.N.F.Railway, Maligaon payable at GPO/ Guwahati or aloso be paid in the form of Account Payee demand draft drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favour of F.A & C.A.O.,N.F.Railway, and payable at SBI/ Maligaon Branch.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates send their application in the prescribed format along with 2 recent passport size photographs duly signed by the applicant, copies of all relevant certificates as mentioned in the notification, 2 self-addressed envelope of 11″x 5″ with postal stamp of Rs.5/- only & envelope should be superscribed with “Application for engagement of Act Apprentice” should be addressed to Chief Workshop Manager/ N.F. Railway Carriage & Wagon Workshop/ New Bongaigaon, PIN-783381 on or before 12-10-2016 up to 16.00 hrs.
