Educational Qualification:
- You should have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.
- For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police (only) – Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

You should be born not before 02nd August 1993 and not later than 01st August 1998.

Exam Pattern & Selection Procedure:
The SSC CPO exam will take place in 2 stages – Paper I and Paper II. After you qualify both the Papers, you will need to go through a mandatory Physical Endurance Test before you are conducted. But your selection will be based on SSC CPO Paper I & II.

- 100 meters race : 16 seconds
- 1.6 Kms race : 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump : 3.65 metres in 3 chances

- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chance
For female candidates only:
- 100 metres race in 18 seconds
- 800 metres race in 4 minutes

Selection process:
Selection will be on the basis of their performance in Paper-I, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in PET/ PST Examination. Only those candidates who qualified in PET/ PST Examination will be allowed to appear in PaperII Examination. On the basis of their performance in Paper-I+Paper-II, candidates will be shortlisted for appearing in Medical Examination. Candidates, who are successful in Medical Examination, will be called for detailed Document Verification
