The Prasar Bharati (PB), a statutory autonomous body established under the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act 1990, comprising of All India Radio & Doordarshan, invites applications from Indian Nationals for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) (Non-Technical) under Special Recruitment Drive for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) for Doordarshan Kendras. The candidates selected through this recruitment will be employees of Prasar Bharati under Section 11(5) of the Prasar Bharati Act, 1990, as amended from time to time, and thus will not have the status of Central Government Civilian Employees.

The 33 Vacancies are equally distributed for VH,HH and OH Candidates. The minimum disability for PWD candidates is 40%. Sub-category of disability, i.e. Visually Handicapped (VH), Hearing Impaired (HH) and Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) is to be indicated. (See Notification for definition of handicapped)
Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will be under the pay scale : PB-1 Rs.5200-20,200/- + GP Rs.1800/- (Pre-revised) Group ‘C’
Educational Qualification:
Matriculation (10th) or equivalent pass OR ITI pass
Age Limit:
18-25 years as on 23.01.2017. Relaxation of 10 years, 13 years and 15 years are applicable for PH, PH+OBC and PH+SC/ST Respectively.
